“Watch Out, J-Law! Miley’s On the Attack,” blares a headline in Life & Style, which claims Miley Cyrus is “fuming” that Liam Hemsworth is “gushing over Jennifer Lawrence.”
The tabloid claims Hemsworth’s recent praise of his Catching Fire co-star in a series of media appearances for the movie was like a “dagger in the heart of his ex-fiancée.”
“To her, his kind words feel like a personal dig,” says Life & Style, alleging that Cyrus “has grown ‘insanely jealous’ of her ex’s relationship with Jen.”
A source for the mag adds that Cyrus “desperately wishes that she and Liam could get back together.”
Cyrus “feels like Liam got over everything too quickly, and she’s very insecure and jealous of Jennifer,” says the singer’s supposed “pal.”
A so-called “friend” of Hemworth’s further claims that the actor “wants to date Jennifer.”
Please.
Cyrus, who has had a few on-screen partners herself, knows co-stars always compliment each other during promotional media tours, and it doesn’t automatically mean something romantic is going on behind the scenes.
In any case, a source close to Cyrus tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true” she’s remotely concerned about Hemsworth and Lawrence’s friendship.
Of course, the tabs have been wrongly pitting Cyrus and Lawrence against each other as romantic rivals for years.
