Dean McDermott allegedly cheated on Tori Spelling with a one-night stand, reports Us Weekly in a new cover story.
A woman named Emily Goodhand tells the magazine that she and McDermott met through friends on December 6 and then had sex in his Toronto hotel room.
“He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage,” Us Weekly quotes Goodhand as saying. “I believed him.”
Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for both stars, who declined to comment in the tabloid.
According to Goodhand, she and McDermott were introduced at Pravda Vodka House in Toronto, where he was on a press tour.
A group of eight people had dinner together, after which everyone headed to a bar at the Fairmount Royal York Hotel, where McDermott was staying.
“He was flirting. His personality is very charming,” says Goodhand. “I was drinking so what he said is blurry. But he was talking about his kids and his work. And when people open up, you feel closer to them in some way. I felt like I could trust him. And we know a lot of the same people, so we had that in common.”
She tells Us Weekly that McDermott behaved in front of the group, but subtly slipped her his room key, and that later in the night, Goodhand returned to the building after the other friends had left.
“I made a stupid decision,” says Goodhand.
She reveals that the pair were in contact the day after the alleged tryst, and that she returned to the hotel the following night.
Their second rendezvous allegedly included McDermott showing Goodhand images from his sex tape with Spelling, room service and cuddling, but no sex.
According to Goodhand, they parted ways when McDermott returned to Los Angeles with no plans to keep their supposed fling going.
Us Weekly quotes Goodhand as apologizing to Spelling.
“I’m an adult and I make my own decisions,” she tells the magazine. “I’m sorry. I f**ked up.”
Neither McDermott nor Spelling has acknowledged the Us Weekly story on Twitter or elsewhere.
