Christina Applegate Ribs Her ‘Anchorman 2’ Co-Stars in New E! Special (Exclusive Video)

Don't leave your child alone with Ron Burgundy.

That's the message Christina Applegate sends in a new E! Entertainment special airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, Dec. 18, the same day the movie hits theaters. Applegate and the other stars of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues -- including Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, James Marsden andMeagan Good -- along with director Adam McKay will be interviewed by E! News' Giuliana Rancic in the one-hour sitdown.

The special will feature the cast and director explaining why it took almost 10 years to get the sequel made and what the characters have been doing since we last saw them. The cast also weighs in on who is a better fit for Ron Burgundy -- Linda Jackson (Good) or Veronica Corningstone (Applegate) -- and what Carrell found most attractive about his onscreen romantic interest, Kristin Wiig.

In this clip, which is exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter, Rancic asks Applegate which of the four main characters (played by Ferrell, Carell, Koechner and Rudd) she would leave her child alone with.

"I would choose the fox," she quips of a wooden table decoration, noting that despite her character being married to Ron: "If the fox hadn't eaten in a week, I'd still choose the fox." Watch the clip above to see whom she (reluctantly) ultimately chooses.

In addition, Ferrell, Rudd, Carell and Koehner will answer celebrity fan questions from the likes of Zooey Deschanel and Inside the Actor’s Studio host James Lipton, share behind-the-scenes stories and talk about the mustaches that helped create their iconic looks.

McKay, meanwhile, also addresses rumors about a third Anchorman movie.

According to E!, the special will be the only interview featuring all of the stars.

The special marks the latest stop on the publicity campaign for the movie, which has featured a slew of appearances by Ferrell in character, including walking the red carpet at the MTV EMAs and calling a curling event in Canada.
