“Britney Spears’ gamble on a Las Vegas comeback may go bust,” claims Star, which has seen many of its Spears stories busted.
The tabloid explains that Spears’ upcoming Planet Hollywood residency is “already plagued with problems and people are worried.”
“Britney is under a lot of pressure to make this show huge,” a so-called “insider” tells the mag. “But she’s lethargic in dance rehearsals, and her vocals aren’t up to par — she’ll probably end up lip-syncing.”
Not only is this story speculative and off-base — it’s also really old.
The Star source sneers, “It looks like Britney’s show might be a huge bomb. It could affect her career for years.”
Actually, it’s the tabloid’s string of false stories about Spears’ Las Vegas residency that’s bombing.
A source close to the singer tells Gossip Cop the latest report is “pure nonsense.”
