Southern California residents have reported seeing a "fireball" in the night sky.
Reports starting coming in from people in San Diego and Santa Barbara around 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The National Weather Service have said this was more than likely a meteor associated with the South Taurids meteor shower which is active in early November.
Sky News report that astronomers say the Taurids doesn't produce a lot of visible meteors, but a higher number of extremely bright ones – which is more than likely what was seen last night.
