Pope Francis today led tens of thousands of worshipers at the Vatican in a silent prayer for the Philippines, where at least 1,200 people have died as a result of Typhoon Haiyan.
The Philippines has the largest number of Catholics in Asia, and the Pope urged those in attendance to "try to get our concrete aid" to "our brothers and sisters."
