One Direction’s “Story of My Life” music video caused more than a few tears to be shed, and now the group is opening up about the emotional process of creating it.
In the music video, the boy band reflects on the story of their own lives with the help of their actual family members, recreating “intimate moments” they shared years prior.
Roughly 6,000 to 7,000 photos of Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Niall as children are visible in some of the background shots.
It wasn’t easy to pull off… especially with the guys’ requisite joking around behind the scenes.
