Lily Collins, Lady Gaga, Lena Dunham, Christy Turlington and a slew of other stars attended the Glamour 2013 Women of the Year Awards in New York on Monday night.

Among the honorees was 16-year-old Malala Yousafzai, who in 2012 was shot by the Taliban for advocating education for women.
Yousafzai told the audience, “I believe the gun has no power at all. I believe the gun has no power because a gun can only kill. But a pen can give life.”
Gaga, who covered Glamour’s Women of the Year issue, said, “If I could forfeit my Glamour cover I would give it to Malala.”
