LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Corbin Bleu feels he came out of “Dancing with the Stars” a winner even though he didn’t take home the mirrorball.
“Honestly the trophy is, it wasn’t the goal,” Corbin told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on Tuesday night. “And [Karina Smirnoff and I] had a moment right before they announced the winner together that… we were just laughing. She made me cry and I haven’t cried this entire season.”
Corbin told Shaun that the emotions came to the surface when he reflected on the friendship he made with Karina and the experience they went through together.

“It was one of those moments… all of a sudden the focus was diverted to her for me, and I mean it’s, I felt like this all day, but even more so in that moment,” Corbin continued. “At the end of the day, this is what it’s about, you know? It’s about her and I, it’s about this relationship that we’ve built; it’s about the fact that we’ve gotten a chance to come out here to perform every single week. And honestly, the trophy — it wasn’t the goal. … And we had a moment right before they announced the winner together that… we were just laughing. She made me cry and I haven’t cried this entire season.”
