LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It’s been one heck of a week for Cassadee Pope!
The artist, who won Season 3 of “The Voice” with country superstar Blake Shelton as her coach, took the No. 1 spot on the Country chart this week with her debut album, “Frame By Frame.”
Cassedee is the only woman in Billboard’s Top 10 Country Album chart this week and is the first “Voice” alum to land a Top 10 album.

Access Hollywood caught up with the 24-year-old singer to find out how she’s feeling about her crazy week – including where she was when she heard the chart-topping news.
“I was in Philadelphia when I first heard the album went No. 1,” she said. “I remember feeling numb, like it wasn’t real at first. Then when it sunk in, I screamed and kept refreshing iTunes like it was a mistake!”

The young artist was quick to thank Blake for his active involvement in her blossoming career.
“Blake has been a huge supporter even after ‘The Voice,’” she said. “He has texted and tweeted and just been there for me. He’s a friend for life.”
While the two are still close, Cassadee said the “Honey Bee” singer has yet to share tips about how to handle fame – but she learns by his example.
“Blake hasn’t really given me straight up advice about success or fame, but watching how he handles it is more than enough,” she said. “He’s himself and he doesn’t apologize for it.”

As for what’s next for Cassadee, the singer’s schedule is already packed.
“I’ll be opening the Dean Brody tour in Canada in January and February, I’ll be opening a really great tour after that (can’t say which yet!), my second single will drop, and I’ll keep meeting fans around the world,” she said. “I can’t wait!”
