ABC saw growth for Dancing With the Stars (2.1 adults, up a tenth from last week), though NFL preemptions could alter that score later. Castle (2.0 adults) shed two-tenths of a point, giving the net a nightly average of a 2.1 adults rating and 12.3 million viewers.

How I Met Your Mother (2.9 adults) continues to fuel CBS' Monday lineup. The comedy was down just two-tenths of a point at 8 p.m., while lead-out We Are Men (1.8 adults) fell by the same measure. 2 Broke Girls (2.2 adults) and Mom (2.0 adults) also both fell by two-tenths of a point, in what amounts to a series low for 2 Broke Girls. Hostages (1.2 adults) dropped three-tenths of a point, giving CBS a 1.9 adults rating and 6.2 million viewers.

The CW launched its new Monday to some year-to-year dips. Hart of Dixie (0.4 adults) came in three-tenths of a point shy of last year's Tuesday opener, while Beauty and the Beast (0.4 adults) matched Gossip Girl's time slot showing last year. The network pulled a 0.4 adults rating and 1.2 million viewers -- though it was also impacted by NFL coverage in New York.

Univision brought in a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.3 million viewers, while Telemundo netted a 0.4 adults rating and 1.1 million viewers.
