An early ’80s Cabbage Patch Kids pattern book might have been the cause of some early body image issues in a lot of kids.
This photo appeared in a 1984 Cabbage Patch Kids pattern book and aside from the creepy dolls there some really upsetting things going on.
First there is the depressing Cabbage Patch "Work out Book" -- because I guess toddlers really need to workout?!
Also there’s this body-shaming and sexist copy:
Lastly and most upsetting, they are drinking CAFFEINE FREE Diet Pepsi! SO GROSS.
