LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- 
Caption Tom Welling and wife JamieTom Welling’s marriage is coming to an end.
The 36-year-old former “Smallville” star’s wife, Jamie White Welling, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Wednesday, according to People.
Jamie, a model, cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for requesting the divorce. The couple separated in December 2012, according to documents obtained by the mag.
Tom and Jamie have been married for over 10 years. The pair tied the knot in July 2002 in Martha’s Vineyard.
While Tom’s personal life may have hit a rough patch, his professional life is in full swing.

The actor appeared in this year’s Zac Efron-led drama, “Parkland,” and is set to star in 2014’s “Draft Day,” alongside Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner.
