Katy Perry is the newest face of CoverGirl.
The pop star’s first ad was unveiled on Wednesday (see right and below).
“BEAUTIFUL news to share w/you all. Today is my 1st day as a @COVERGIRL! See what happens when you let the light in?” tweeted Perry.
The singer is following in the footsteps of other stars such as Pink, Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah, and Sofia Vergara, all of whom have served as spokeswomen for the makeup company.
