LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Julianne Hough stepped out in what was arguably an ill-advised Halloween costume on Friday night.
The 25-year-old blonde, who is apparently a fan of Netflix’s “Orange is The New Black,” was photographed heading to a party dressed as “OITNB” favorite Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren (played by Uzo Aduba) in Beverly Hills.
Julianne wore an orange prison jumpsuit (Suzanne’s is actually beige on the show) with a prison ID badge displaying the character’s name.

The “Dancing with the Stars” beauty also wore her hair in bantu knots and donned blackface makeup, the latter of which set Twitter ablaze with users voicing their disappointment and shock.
“Raising Hope” star Martha Plimpton Tweeted a link to a photo of Julianne in the controversial costume, with the caption, “Not speaking for anyone but myself here when I say, this leaves me stunned.

“I mean…. you have to have a brain made of oatmeal to not be astounded,” she added.
Julianne has yet to comment on her costume choice.
