LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- 
Caption Josh Duhamel and pregnant FergieJosh Duhamel and Fergie became proud parents to son Axl Jack in August and the couple is over the moon about parenthood.
“It’s the best thing ever,” Josh said at the Wallis Annenberg Inaugural Gala in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, when asked about being a new dad. “[It’s] the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s fantastic.”
Josh, 40, said Axl is such a happy and easy newborn that he and Fergie, 38, are worried they’ll be less lucky with their next child.
“He’s a really good little baby, which means the second one will be a holy terror!” he said with a laugh. “But, so far so good. We’re beyond happy.”
And the couple, who tied the knot in 2009, is already planning to expand their family again.

When asked if he and Fergie are planning for baby No. 2, Josh replied, “Of course! Yeah, we’ve gotta move fast.”
