LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Less than a week ago, the Jonas Brothers asked their fans, “bear with us,” as breakup rumors swirled, and now the sibling trio appears to be over – but for how long?
“It’s over for now,” oldest bro Kevin Jonas told People.
Youngest bro, Nick Jonas, however gave fans a small glimmer of hope that the brothers would rock alongside each other one day.

“It’s really hard to say ‘forever,’” Nick told the mag. “We’re closing a chapter, for sure.”
Nick revealed that during a meeting earlier this month, he told his brothers he was feeling too confined in the band.
“I was feeling kind of trapped,” the 21-year-old explained. “I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”

Middle bro, Joe Jonas, told the mag the decision to split was mutual all around.
“It was a unanimous decision,” the 24-year-old said.
