Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett had an interview this morning with WHP-TV in Harrisburg, PA.
The governor was asked to clarify a statement made by his lawyers from a court filing this August in the challenge to the state's ban on same-sex couples marrying.
"Had the clerk issued marriage licenses to 12-year-olds in violation of state law, would anyone seriously contend that each 12-year-old . . . is entitled to a hearing on the validity of his 'license'?"
