The episode -- aptly titled "The Quarterback" -- picked up three weeks after Finn's funeral and did not discuss just how the former leader of New Directions died. Instead, the hour focused on how everyone from Finn's love interest Rachel (Monteith's real-life girlfriend Lea Michele), step-brother Kurt (Chris Colfer) and best friend Puck (Mark Salling), among others, were handling the loss of a loved one.
