20th Century Fox Television is securing the future of Glee's and American Horror Story's Brad Falchuk.
The co-creator of both series has inked a major three-year overall deal with the studio behind the Fox musical and FX anthology, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Under the pact, Falchuk -- who started his career as a staff writer on Ryan Murphy's drama Nip/Tuck -- will continue to serve as a co-showrunner on both the Fox musical and FX anthology as well as develop projects for network and cable.

While this deal ensures he'll continue to help guide those important series, we think he has even more hits up his sleeve. In addition to his co-showrunning duties, Falchuk also directed this week's Glee tribute episode to late star Cory Monteith. The overall deal keeps Falchuk in the studio's fold.
Glee and AHS, the latter of which premieres its third season Wednesday night, are both valuable properties for the studio. Music from Glee, which in its fifth season still has a massive cult following, continues to be a sturdy revenue stream for Fox and 20th. AHS, meanwhile, brings both buzz and cachet. The series tied with Mad Men for the most Emmy nominations (17) for its second season, Asylum.
Falchuk joins Murphy and the creators behind hit series including Homeland, Modern Family and How I Met Your Mother, among countless others, at the studio. Falchuk is repped by WME and Gendler & Kelly.
