Whatever lies ahead, Jerry Ferrara, who played Turtle on the HBO series, promises the movie will be “great.”
Access Hollywood caught up with the actor at the premiere of his latest film, “Last Vegas,” where he dished on bringing the project to theaters after a few hiccups.

“I’m very happy that we’re gonna get to do this movie,” he told Access.
“We’ve always wanted to do it,” he continued. “Apologies [that it] kind of took a little long, but patience is a virtue.”
The 33-year-old actor stayed mum on the movie’s plot details, but said the end result will deliver.

“Now we will deliver a good finished – a great finished product,” he explained.
Jerry was quick to point out that he’s not much like his beloved character – known for his sometimes hardcore partying ways.
“I was never fully him, but believe me I could get back into that character, because it was very much a character,” he added.
Earlier this week during an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show,” Jerry said they hope to begin production in January on the big screen version of the HBO series that ran for eight seasons from 2004 to 2011.
