LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- ELLE Magazine celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Women in Hollywood event and the ladies did not disappoint. Reese Witherspoon looked radiant in a simple red strapless Calvin Klein dress paired with Harry Winston diamond studs and ring.
Glee star Naya Rivera answered the “How Low Can You Go?” question with a plunging white pantsuit from Pamala Rowland’s Spring 2014 Collection, while her co-star Lea Michele went with a white strapless Calvin Klein dress with cutouts at the waist. Both ladies wore their hair slicked back.
Honoree Marion Cotillard dazzled in a dramatic metallic strapless bustier Dior gown accessorized with Dior pumps.
Fellow Honoree Melissa McCarthy wore a pretty Calvin Klein black and white ensemble and pumped up hair! The actress addressed the controversy surrounding her cover of ELLE. The magazine drew criticism for dressing McCarthy in a coat, which many saw as trying to cover her curves.
“I loved my cover!” Melissa says. I just fell in love with that coat and I wanted to wear it and I’m really happy with it, it was like a different look for me I had a lot of fun.”
As for upset fans who felt that she was too covered up on the cover….“I think they’re crazy,” Melissa says. ”I had a great dress on and I’m the one who grabbed the coat. I wish I could’ve taken the coat home,” she said smiling. “I didn’t, but I loved it.”
