Jessica Simpson is “firing female staffers” so that fiancé Eric Johnson “won’t be tempted to stray,” reports Star.
The tabloid falsely claimed a year ago that Johnson cheated on Simpson with his ex-wife Keri, and followed up that mistake with bogus rumor after bogus rumor about the couple.
So it’s no surprise that Star is still getting stuff wrong.
According to a “source” for the magazine, “Jessica is away a lot for work, so that leaves Eric at home with the kids and staff. She doesn’t want him to have any pretty girls around.”
Star says Simpson “even let go of a longtime employee and family friend because she feared Eric was flirting too much.”
“Eric is as loyal as a golden retriever, but she doesn’t want to take any chances,” explains the tab’s insider.
Uh-huh.
An actual source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop the Star report is “not true.”
