Caroline Manzo is leaving “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” after five seasons.
The reality star announced the news on Sunday night after the show’s reunion special, tweeting, “It’s been wonderful guys. I’ve decided to leave #RHONJ this season was my last. Love and kisses to you all. xoxoxo.”
Manzo later explained her decision in a candid blog post, revealing, “Over the past few years my outlook on the show has changed from something I couldn’t wait to show my future grandchildren to something I hope my future grandchildren never see.”
She added, “For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame… I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give.”
Manzo was one of the original cast members on the series.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the “Housewife” is getting a Bravo spinoff titled “Manzo’d With Children.”
