TV Ratings: ‘Million Second Quiz’ Grows in Finish, ‘Wipeout’ Finale Even

Repeats of CBS' Thursday fare topped a slew of originals last night, with Fast National ratings giving the network an average 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.7 million viewers.

The X Factor, airing in its one-hour Thursday format, was off a tenth of a point from last week's showing in the same time slot on Fox. It averaged a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers, both lows for the series. It led into encores of new Fox comedies Dads (1.2 adults) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.1 adults). Fox averaged a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers for the night.

NBC wrapped its 10-night Million Second Quiz with a two-hour ender. The Ryan Seacrest-hosted affair was at up a notch from its most recent episode, averaging a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49. At 10 p.m., the special Valerie's Story brought in a 1.0 adults rating. NBC averaged a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers. The network's ratings are subject to some adjustment, due to NFL carriage in some markets -- as are ABC's.

Wipeout wrapped its summer run on ABC, even with last summer's 1.2 rating among adults 18-49. Coupled with repeats, the network averaged a 1.3 rating in the demo and 4.5 million viewers.

Encores brought the CW a 0.2 adults rating and 687,000 viewers.

Univision averaged a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers, while Teleumundo had a 0.4 demo rating and 1.1 million viewers.
