“Rude J. Lo Disses Taylor’s Crew,” reads the headline of a Star story about Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift, which goes on to quote a so-called source as saying, “Jennifer was extremely rude to some of Taylor’s closest friends backstage” when the two women performed together on August 24 in Los Angeles.
The tabloid’s supposed “spy” adds, “Jennifer made it clear they shouldn’t look in her direction or speak to her.”
It allegedly angered Swift so much, claims Star, that the young singer “has decided she will never work with J. Lo again or even invite her to a performance.”
It should be noted that the tabloid has previously tried to peddle the false no eye contact rule about Lopez, and has repeatedly and wrongly accused the singer of “diva” behavior for years.
Nor has Star been too spot-on either with its reporting about Swift.
Regardless, Swift had NO problems with Lopez — and would love to work with her again.
A source close to the country cutie tells Gossip Cop, “There is not one bit of truth” to the magazine’s claims.
In fact, our impeccable insider says, “It was a fantastic experience, and Taylor was thrilled” and “loved working with Jennifer.”
We’re also told the respective crews got along great, and were impressed with each other’s professionalism.
Actually, Swift even tweeted about working with Lopez FOUR TIMES that night, including, “Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT.”
What’s more, “Taylor is even putting together a video of her week of shows in L.A., and [her performing with Lopez] will be a big part of that,” says out source, noting, “Clearly, she would not do that if she was not going to work with her again.”
Basically, Star got the entire story WRONG.
