John Noble is heading to Sleepy Hollow.
The Fringe alum is reuniting with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci on the Fox series with a major recurring role, the network announced Friday.
Noble, who starred as the beloved Walter Bishop for five seasons on Fringe, will join later in the season as Henry Parrish, a kind and reclusive man who possesses supernatural powers that have the potential to help Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).
Sleepy Hollow premiered Sept. 16 to a strong 10.1 million viewers and a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 in the 9 p.m. slot, making it Fox's most-watched fall drama debut in seven years.
In the next episode, Ichabod Crane and Lt. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) move forward in their mission to unravel the mysteries lurking in Sleepy Hollow. A scary vision from Icahod's ex-wife Katrina (Katia Winter) sends the duo on the hunt for a witch from the 1700s, who has waken up by unknown evils and is on a path of destruction in the quaint town.
Noble, the latest Fringe alum to land another meaty gig following the end of the series, is repped by Seven Summits Management and Coast to Coast Talent. Anna Torv booked Ryan Murphy's HBO pilot Open, while Joshua Jackson landed Showtime pilot The Affair. Following Fringe, Noble appeared in The Good Wife.
Sleepy Hollow airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
