Simon Cowell says he’s “happier” than ever after a rocky few weeks in an interview set to air this week on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The “X Factor” judge opens up about the recent news that he’s expecting a baby with Lauren Silverman, the now ex-wife of his former friend Andrew, and admits things were initially “awkward” and “uncomfortable.”
“I can’t blame the media because it was kind of what I call a ‘juicy story,’ acknowledges Cowell.
But the dad-to-be goes on to slam unflattering speculation about his baby mama, saying, “There was a lot of stuff said about her that she trapped me, that she’s a gold digger.”
“Absolute nonsense,” he insists.
Calling Lauren “a great girl,” Cowell says, “These things happen, and everything’s kind of calm now.”
“I’m actually happier than I’ve ever been,” the music producer tells DeGeneres.
So, is Cowell expecting a boy or a girl — and where will the little one be raised?
