Nicki Minaj is being sued for allegedly ripping off her 2012 hit song “Starships” from underground EDM artist Clive Tanaka.

On Tuesday, Tanaka filed a lawsuit against Minaj, the single’s writers and producer claiming copyright infringement on his 2011 track “Neu Chicago.”

His lawyer says, “We believe they are similar to the point that it is nearly impossible for it to be a coincidence.”
