On Saturday night, Vancouver Canucks forward Zack Kassian came crashing into the boards, hitting Oilers center Sam Gagner with a swinging high stick.
The high stick hit Gagner in the face, resulting in a broken jaw.
On Monday, the NHL suspended Kassian for the first five games of the regular-season, and Ganger tweeted out the aftermath of his injury:
