‘Glee’s’ Beatles Tribute Track List Released

Glee will pay tribute to the Beatles with 14 songs from the legendary band when the Fox musical opens its fifth season with a two-part tribute episode.

Columbia Records will release the soundtrack "Glee Sings the Beatles" on Sept. 24 -- two days before the Fox musical's season premiere, titled "Love, Love, Love." The episode will see Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) enlist New Directions to pay homage to the Fab Four while Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) attempt to answer questions about their future together. In New York, Rachel's (Lea Michele) ambitions will take an unexpected turn.

The second part of the tribute -- set for Oct. 3 -- will be titled "Tina in the Sky With Diamonds" and feature McKinley High students voting for prom king and queen. But when Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) earns a nomination, she takes on a fierce attitude that alienates her biggest supporters. In New York, Rachel adjusts to a new attitude of her own as she and Santana (Naya Rivera) work at a Broadway diner to make ends meet.

The Beatles tribute comes three years after the Glee cast topped the Fab Four for the most appearances among non-solo acts in on the Billboard Hot 100. In its four seasons, Glee has set a record for the most songs charted by a single act on the Billboard Hot 100 -- topping records previously held by Elvis Presley, the Beatles and James Brown. Glee has sold more than 55 million tracks and 13 million albums worldwide.
