An excited and energetic Elisabeth Hasselbeck made her Fox and Friends debut Monday, when the show also unveiled its new set.
After Hasselbeck and co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade showed viewers around the morning show's shiny new digs, a technical glitch led Kilmeade to suggest they start from the top but Hasselbeck would not be moved.
"It took me a long time to get on this curvy couch. I'm not getting up," she said, sitting in the middle of the show's new, much wider white couch.

After briefing viewers on Hasselbeck's bio, Doocy jumped right into the hard news, talking about a new report about last year's fatal attack in Benghazi, which Hasselbeck said they still "know nothing" about, but she's confident that we'll learn more.
In her first hour, Hasselbeck also took part in a discussion with former Real World star turned congressman Sean Duffy and his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy, also a Real World alum, and she interviewed Rebecca Musser, who escaped life with polygamous cult leader Warren Jeffs and has written a new book called The Witness Wore Red.
Hasselbeck also quickly put an end to a proposed debate about whether Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco should've played in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns even though his wife went into labor shortly before kickoff.

Hasselbeck agreed with Flacco's decision to play, saying that she was in that situation: she and her former NFL quarterback husband Tim Hasselbeck were in Arizona and she had to tell him to get back to practice.
The former View co-host also got a taped greeting from fellow broadcast talk-show alum Regis Philbin, now part of the Fox family via his show on Fox Sports 1, and was shown touring the new set while it was still under construction with Doocy and Kilmeade.
Hasselbeck left The View in July after 10 years on the ABC series. Former Fox and Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson, who left the morning show on Friday, has received her own one-hour signature daytime series.
