The mystery of who killed young Danny Latimer is winding down.
BBC America's Broadchurch wraps up the intense eight-episode murder case with a heart-pounding season finale, airing Sept. 25, that will finally reveal the culprit of the crime — and the aftershocks will hit the small coastal British town in ways it never expected.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively debuts a scene between Joe Miller (Matthew Gravelle) and his son Tom (Adam Wilson), Danny's best friend, in which the two engage in a heated conversation about a missing laptop that Tom had destroyed.
In the clip, Tom catches his father scouring through his things underneath his bed: "Dad?! Out!"
When Joe asks about the whereabouts of the laptop, Tom reveals, "It's not here." "Well, where is it?" Joe inquires. In response, Tom concocts a lie: "Um, I lost it."
The red flags force Joe to dig further for the truth. "Don't lie to me Tom," Joe says, before demanding he tell him where the computer is.
Do you think Joe had something to do with Danny's murder? Who do you think committed the crime?
Broadchurch airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on BBC America.
