The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki is expanding his résumé to include producing.
The actor is teaming with former ABC Entertainment chief Stephen McPherson to executive produce a multicamera comedy set up at Fox, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Here's Your Damn Family revolves around a stunted, set-in-his-ways thirty-something man -- who lives with his mom -- and finds his perfectly organized world upended when his mother/roommate gets married, and her new husband plus his three teenage children move in.
Ricky Blitt will pen the script, which landed at Fox with a penalty attached. The project reunites Blitt with Galecki, who starred in the writer's 2002 Fox comedy Becoming Glen. Galecki and McPherson will executive produce the comedy, which hails from Warner Bros. Television, Wonder Monkey, Candy Bar Productions and Galecki.
This marks McPherson's third sale at Fox this development season -- though it falls outside of his first-look deal with Lionsgate Television that he inked in April. McPherson also will produce a comedy from Julliard grad student Kate Gersten and a half-hour from young writer Brandon Schwartz, both from Lionsgate and set up at Fox.
Galecki becomes the latest Big Bang star to explore development. John Ross Bowie (Kripke) teamed with regular Kevin Sussman (Stuart) have both previously been active setting up comedies including The Second Coming of Rob, which landed at CBS last year.
