Aziz Ansari, the Parks and Recreation star, is getting his first straight-to-Netflix special on Nov. 1, and the streaming service has just released the first trailer (we just hope it's not produced or directed by Jean-Ralphio).
Watch the clip below.
In the trailer, Ansari and Seth Rogen discuss a variety of offbeat -- and very funny -- ways to promote the special, poking fun at sponsored product placements at the same time.
Buried Alive was filmed in Philadelphia and features Ansari riffing on adulthood, marriage and family, and love. The show was part of the tour of the same name that played in 75 cities around the world, including New York, London and Sydney.
It's a follow-up to his previous specials, Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening, which debuted on Comedy Central, and Dangerously Delicious, which he offered directly to fans for $5 through his website.
Both specials are now available on Netflix.
Ansari plays Tom Haverford on the hit NBC show Parks and Recreation, which begins its sixth season on Sept. 26.
He recently signed a $3.5 million dollar deal with Penguin for his first book. The publisher says the yet-to-be-titled book "will provide an investigation into what Ansari argues is an entirely new era for singles, in which the basic issues facing a single person -- whom we meet, how we meet them and what happens next -- have been radically altered by new technologies."
The book is expected in September 2015.
