Arsenio Hall returned to late-night TV on Monday nearly 20 years after his old show ended.
The first “Arsenio” featured a cold open with rival Jay Leno and a surprise walk-on from old friend Paula Abdul.
Abdul managed to get in a dig at Simon Cowell before getting genuinely emotional as she told Hall, “I’m so proud of you. You’ve done something that no one’s ever done before, or let alone even tried… to come back after 20 years… it’s really inspiring.”
