Robert Pattinson accidentally pushed a security guard during a paparazzi scrum outside a club in Los Angeles on Friday.

While it’s difficult to see exactly what transpires in the footage (see below), it looks like the actor, surrounded by photographer chaos as he left the Troubadour in West Hollywood, reached out to move someone he thought was a paparazzo — not realizing it was actually one of the guards trying to keep things under control.
After Pattinson gets into his vehicle, the paparazzi scream at him (“Why did you assault the innocent security guard?!”), although the guard himself seems to understand that it was just a mistake.
“He thought I was somebody else,” says the man.
