Vanessa Hudgens talks to Ashley Tisdale about going to strip clubs in a new clip from their upcoming E! special “Vanessa & Ashley: Inner Circle.”

Hudgens, who pole dances in her upcoming movie The Frozen Ground, tells her pal, “I have mad respect for the amazing pole dancers because it takes a lot of work… they’re like athletes.”
Asked if she went to strip clubs to research her role in the film, the actress replies, “I did. That was the best part. I went to like a bunch of strip clubs, and got to like talk to a bunch of the strippers.”
“Vanessa & Ashley: Inner Circle” premieres August 8 at 10 p.m. on E!
