TLC is adding more Breaking Amish: L.A.
Following a strong start, the cable network's L.A.-set follow-up of the unscripted entry is adding two additional episodes, including a reunion special.
The series has been averaging 1.8 million total viewers during its season and follows seven young Amish and Mennonite men and women living together in Los Angeles as they contemplate whether or not to embrace this new world or return to the life they left behind.
The additional episode order brings the series to 11 installments, as well as the reunion special Breaking Amish: L.A. -- The Shunning Truth. Both hourlong episodes will air back-to-back on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. and mark the season finale.
NBC's Michelle Beadle will reunite the seven during Truth, where the group will catch up on life together in Los Angeles and what has happened back home since the series started airing. The reunion will tackle conflict and rumors, relationship questions and attempt to get to the bottom of any unresolved issues.
TLC previously scheduled a reunion special for the New York-set season after reports that the reality series' stars were long separated from the Amish and Mennonite communities before filming began.
The reunion special hails from Hot Snakes Media and Peacock Productions.
Breaking Amish continues Sunday at 10 p.m. on TLC.
