Ron Burgundy is releasing a tell-all memoir.
The fictional Anchorman newsman portrayed by Will Ferrell has penned “LET ME OFF AT THE TOP!: My Classy Life and Other Musings,” due to hit bookstores in November.
Not coincidentally, Anchorman: The Legend Continues is in theaters a month later.
In a press release, Burgundy said his book will include “never-before-told stories of his childhood” and the journey that led him to become television’s “greatest living news anchor.”
“I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work,” observed Burgundy. “I will tell you this much: The first time I sat down and read this thing… I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!”
It should be a good read.
