Paula Deen has settled the lawsuit that crippled her empire.
The embattled cooking celebrity and Lisa Jackson have reached an agreement to resolve Jackson’s sexual harassment suit against Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers.
According to documents filed in U.S. District Court on Friday, a deal was settled “without any award of costs or fees to any party.”
A former manager at the siblings’ Savannah restaurant, Jackson alleged that she was subjected to an atmosphere of racism and frequent harassment.
Earlier this month, a judge dismissed the race discrimination portion of the lawsuit.
Deen saw her television and product endorsement empire shrink earlier this summer when court documents tied to Jackson’s case revealed that Deen admitted to past use of the N-word.
