CBS on Thursday released a preview clip of Winfrey's interview with Letterman, who inquires about her interest in meditation.
"Well, actually, I brought meditation to my whole company … in 2010, because it makes for a better environment when everybody is focused and of one mind and doing well," she revealed.
She then asked Letterman if he meditates, and quickly quipped: "I can tell you don’t. Never mind. I was just asking that. You know, I'm just being polite. I can tell you don't."
Letterman insisted that he does meditate -- and, in fact, he said, "I'm meditating right now." He added that a man called "Meditation Bob" taught the Late Show staff how to meditate over the course of four nights.
"Now, I can meditate anytime I want," he joked.
Winfrey added that she believes "everybody needs to find something. … And it doesn't matter what you call it, if it's just sitting and being still, if it's reflecting, if it's, you know hugging your children, hugging your dogs, giving some time to that. It's all good."
