Nick Jonas Heads to ‘Hawaii Five-0’

Having put in quite a bit of time on Broadway, Nick Jonas' next acting stop is on Hawaii Five-0.

CBS announced Tuesday that the Jonas Brother will appear in an episode of its exotic procedural this fall, playing a computer hacker whose motives complicate the case du jour. And based on his recent spate of selfies, don't be surprised if he does his hacking from the beach.

“Nothing makes this show more fun than incorporating well-known, talented actors as guest stars on our show,” said ep Peter Lenkov. “We’re all thrilled to have Nick Jonas join our Ohana.”

Jonas, who got his acting start on the brothers' self-titled Disney series, has most recently starred in Broadway efforts -- including playing the lead in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying after the departure of Daniel Radcliffe. In addition to stage, he's booked television guest spots on Mr. Sunshine, Last Man Standing and Smash.

He joins the previously announced roster of fourth season Hawaii Five-0 guest talent which includes Chi McBride, Carol Burnett, Tim Daly, Henry Ian Cusick, Jorge Garcia, Terry O’Quinn, Rebecca De Mornay, Taryn Manning and Rumer Willis.

Hawaii Five-0 moves to Fridays on Sept. 27, airing in the 9 p.m. hour.

Jonas is repped by CAA.
