Welcome back, Michael J. Fox! The actor, who became America's favorite son with his turn as lovable conservative teen Alex P. Keaton in Family Ties and later wowed fans with his courage and grace after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's, is back on the small screen this fall with his new sitcom, The Michael J. Fox Show.
In this special sneak peek at the upcoming series, the actor talks about his return to acting ("This is what I do," he explains. "My experience is to deal with things through humor), while costars Betsy Brandt (of Breaking Bad) and Wendell Pierce (of The Wire) gush about getting to work with the star.

The video also features some hilarious clips from the new sitcom, which centers on a news anchor (Fox) with Parkinson's disease. "911? I didn't call 911," Fox says into a telephone in one scene. "You know what I did? I called 917, but I misdialed! My drugs haven't kicked in."

Despite his explanation, cops soon bust into his home. One of the cops says to him, "Since we're both here, can I get you to sign an autograph? My uncle has Alzheimers."
"I've got Parkinson's," Fox clarifies.
"Either way," replies the determined cop.

In another funny scene, the family is gathered around the dinner table as Fox struggles shakily to scoop some eggs for his wife (Brandt). After much effort on his part, a frustrated Brandt swoops in to do it herself, imploring, "Can you not have a personal victory right now? We are starving!"
