Lucas Cruikshank, who played the hyperactive character Fred Figglehorn in the Nickelodeon movie Fred and several shows, has officially come out of the closet.
The star made the announcement in a YouTube video with his friend Jennifer Veal (who starred in the Disney series “Jessie”), in which the pair answered a number of questions from Twitter followers.

In response to the question “Are you gay?” Cruikshank began laughing and covering his face before revealing, “I’m gay.”
“It feels so weird saying it on camera… I feel awkward,” the actor said.
Veal added, “Now you know he likes boys and not me!”
Cruikshank has also appeared on shows such as “iCarly” and “Hannah Montana.”
