Leah Remini to Guest on ‘Ellen’ Premiere

In her first television appearance since publicly breaking with the Church of Scientology, Leah Remini will guest on the Sept. 9 premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

During her interview, according to a press release issued Friday, the duo will dole out "Ellen's biggest giveaway that will impact a community in need."

Also on tap for Ellen's season 11 premiere week is an interview and performance from Celine Dion, X Factor panelists Simon Cowell and Kelly Rowland, Parenthood's Ray Romano, Glee's Amber Riley, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg, America's Got Talent's Mel B. and a performance from Jennifer Nettles. Ellen will also host WWE Wrestler Fred Rosser, aka "Darren Young," the first openly gay professional wrestler.

Remini has been busy since her split with Scientology in July. The former King of Queens star is planning a tell-all memoir and has been tapped to join the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.
