Kafka’s “The Metamorphosis” Appears Out Of Nowhere In Charmin Ad

Some ad copywriter must’ve had a giant bug up his ass.

Apparently a "creative" at New York City ad agency Publicis Kaplan Thaler is a wiseguy/gal. (or it was the animator/director's touch, but I'm guessing the copywriter).

Of all the books in the world he/she/they could have put in daughter bear's hand, they chose one the most depressing novels in the history of humanity.

But, if you know anything about working in the ad industry, you might be chuckling to yourself right now, because it is a transformation to become an ad creative — and it is NOT a pretty transformation.

I, personally, can't stand the Charmin "Bears" campaign.

WHAT the FUCK?

WHAT the FUCK?
