Dustin Hoffman has been “surgically cured” of cancer, says his rep.
According to his spokeswoman, the Oscar winner’s cancer was “detected early,” and now he is ”feeling great and is in good health.”
While Hoffman’s rep would not disclose the exact nature of the star’s illness, she told People that he will partake in preventative treatment to reduce the chance of the disease reappearing.
The actor recently finished shooting the film Chef, and is slated to begin production on Esio Trot with Judi Dench in the fall.
