On Aug. 21, a suburb of Damascus was reportedly attacked with sarin, a nerve gas, leaving 355 Syrians dead, according to Doctors Without Borders.
The U.S. and U.K. governments are currently weighing a military response after the apparent gas attack, which they believe was carried out by the regime of President Bashar Assad.
Syria has been embroiled in a civil war since March 2011. More than 100,000 people have been killed, according to the latest United Nations estimate.
