A dancer at Ballet West faces a difficult decision about her future at the company.
The Hollywood Reporter debuts an exclusive scene from the upcoming installment of The CW's summer docu-series centered on ballet dancers, which features demi-soloist Allison DeBona as she debates whether to quit ballet or not.
The conversation between DeBona and Ballet West artistic director Adam Sklute is telling. When Sklute asks her what she sees herself doing at the company, where she has been a crucial part of the ensemble of dancers for the past few years, DeBona — recently reunited with her former flame, Jonathan — struggles to give him an answer.
"I don't know," DeBona says as she fights back tears. When Sklute asks her if she still has the passion for dance, however, that's when the Ballet West veteran breaks down. Watch what happens next.
